Message from Delaware Kenya Association
***********************************************************************
Delaware Kenya Association has taken the responsibility of coordinating the efforts for helping the girls and also help in centralizing the efforts by different groups in the US so that we can be more effective in our health campaign on behalf of the two sisters. A member of our group who traveled to Kenya was given the responsibility of contacting the family and getting as much information as possible to help us determine how best to help the girls.
May I count on you to be the change you want to see in the two sisters? If so, please call me at 302-299-7045, and together, let us bring a smile to the girls and their mother.
Tax deductible donations can be sent to Delaware Kenya Association, 818 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 and in the memo line, please write, " Phyllis & Doris". You can also make your donation through PayPal on our organization's website, www.delka.org.
Thank you for joining me in bringing hope to Phyllis and Doris.

Wambui,
Good morning and happy Monday!

Thank you for the emails you have forwarded to me from concerned Kenyans who would like to help. I am forwarding you the latest report from the team we have in Kenya regarding the girls visits and evaluations with the doctors.

Now, the real work begins, and this we must do without looking back. You will see from the report that they need $4000 (this are tentative costs) plus to get the first major work done---I am therefore appealing to you to help us through your church, groups you belong to, and other well-wishers to help raise this amount. I did some math and it looks that if we get 100 people to give $40 each, we shall reach our goal of $4000; and if we get 150 people to give about $33 each, we can raise $5000. That is just for the initial amount, but at least it gets the work started, and that is what we need.

Can you help start the campaign down there by reaching out to people who you think can come through? Again, all tax deductible donations can be sent to Delaware Kenya Association, 818 N. Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 and on the memo line, write "Phyllis and Doris". Online payments can be made on our PayPal account at www.delka.org.

God indeed is at work and nothing surprises Him. Phyllis and Doris our precious little girls with tumors hanging down on their bellies are still in need of continued intercession so that as we wait for definitive move for their needed help, God will give them strong bodies and quick recoveries when the surgery is finally done. I trust that God's people are moved with the plight of such children ...and one of this days we will all say HELP is finally here...For those who cannot give money, will you at least give a day of prayer and fasting on their behalf....When Job of the bible prayed for his friends needs, God heard his prayer and met his very own needs...it pays to pray for others.

Hello brother Kariuki,

Thank you for sharing this unfortunate information regarding  both the girls and the boy. I am currently exploring the "one minute cure" ( www.1minutecure.com")  - here is a video:

http://www.1minutecure.com/registrationtotbp.htm

As well as Robert Barefoot's coral calcium to see if any of these can be of some use. Please pass this information to those responsible. My nephew has a Lipoma type growth in his back near the spinal cord and I am in the process of research the two sites for his sake.

Take care,

Eddah

I am beginning to get calls I had made returned with positive words of encouragement, I was able to send a Kenyan Contact to visit with Phyllis and Dorris, our little girls with the tumors that need to be taken off from below their stomachs...unfortunately, I just received word that Dorris the 5 year old has started to have a complication as the tumor is opening up and leaking fluid, I believe the opening was visible on the first video clip that appeared on Diasporamessenger.com.
I was able to make a request on my Kenyan contact to visit the girls again and meet their immediate need for food which was a miracle in itself to say the least, and warm clothing will be bought for them , this coming week end as the weather is rapidly changing on their weakened and compromised little bodies...we need to make sure they are well fed and everyday from now on so that when we get a breakthrough for them to have the surgery they need, they will be in a position to handle it well God willing...I am still talking to anyone who can join in this life-changing  desire to do what is right  for our precious Phyllis and Dorris...yes we can, Yes we can Yes we can....please join me and let us DO IT...

Dear Friends,
I have been touched by the plight of this family, and am glad to see God at work on this forum. I live in the republic of Ireland and  I am scheduled to go the Kenya next week, and together with a Kenyan pastor who also resides here we hope to visit with the family. Am glad to see what wambui and friends are doing, and since you have spoken to them, please let me know in what specific areas we can help. I see someone has mentioned Dr. Bransford in Kijabe. He is a good Dr and I know he does orthopedic reconstructive surgery, but it would be great if he can also help them.
Isaac, am not sure you remember me, we used to live in the DC area and worked with Kibe. We met at the bible study fellowship with Kibe, Mutuiri and co. I am still in contact with Kibe, so he can tell you more. I would like to liaise with Wambui, so please forward this message to her. She can email me or I will ask kibe to give you my tel. Glory be to God. Wanjiru

Isaac,
Tell these folks to get to Kijabe - to the Bethany Children's Center - where they care for such problems. Dr. Dick Bransford and staff may be able to help.

After posting this story and the appeal for help, one lady was touched so much that she swung into action with a deliberate aim of helping the two girls. Wambui Kamau of Virginia was able to get a contact in Nairobi who has been assisting in monitoring the girl’s situation and delivering the immediate help needed. She has also managed to talk with the Good Samaritan woman housing the girls, the mother of the girls and also has been talking to the girls regularly for encouragement.
Though she wants to help the girls, the task is enormous for one person to handle and we are requesting for anybody else who is touched to join wambui kamau in this worthy cause. Please use this forum to suggest and offer ideas of what can be done.
Here below are some communications of what wambui has been doing:
********************************************************************************

I have established contact and I actually talked to the 12 year old with a tumor and her mother too. Teresa Bogomba Kibwaro is the Good Samaritan Lady who has taken the girls in, she is a total stranger to them but is willing to keep them until they can get help. Teresa’s number is 712-625-518...I have started talking to a number of my friends regarding looking for funds to send these girls to the Doctor ASAP, they have an immediate need for food and bus fare and I think between a few of us we should send Jayne some money so that we can keep Teresa the good Samaritan woman encouraged to keep feeding them while we look for solutions to have the tumors removed...let us keep praying and working with our heads...this wall can be built
For our God, like Nehemiah did, let us pray and work as well.

I pray you are all well.  Yesterday I managed to get contacts for the various
Doctors that are handling the surgery on the Boy with a skin condition and also spoke to the Administrator of the main Doc.  However, this Doc. only handles skin related conditions.  This morning I am on the track pursuing information on the Girls Mum through Friends that live in that neighborhood as well as TV stations.  I am sure I will get the contacts within the weekend or by early next week.  Indeed God is still at work and I am convicted we will get the information we need.

I trust God overwhelmed you this last week-end with his goodness and tender
Mercies. All is well and I hope you have good news for us. I   believe you were able to make contact with Teresa Kibwaro, the Good Samaritan Woman who has housed 12 year old Phyllis and 5 year old Dorris together with their destitute mother. I have started to talk to a number of friends and we are all trying to come up with a workable date to meet at someone's house and brain-storm as to how we can raise funds for the Surgery to remove the tumors from the under-belly of those two precious girls.
I wanted to know if you probably can
Find out if they even have bus-fare....what of the estimate cost of the
surgery...how much are we looking to probably attempt to raise?... including therapy sessions after the tumors have been removed....as you approach the Doctors/Surgeons try and find out which among them would be willing to sacrifice and treat them either for free or with the least Fee so that if we have any cash left over after buying the medications, then we can continue to support the two girls until they are able to play and attend school like normal children
Wambui Kamau

Hi Wambui,
***************************************************************************

Many thanks for your two emails. I will do my best to get you what you need.  My Friend was very well received by Mama Esther, the Girls and Teresa.  They were so excited and even had time to pray together.  Incidentally Mama Esther has 7; children in total - 5 of them are upcountry in Kisii and are also trying to survive on their own.  My Friend is also called Esther and a Pastor.  She also counseled the Ladies a bit - not to really expose the Girls so much because not everyone will be there to assist them.  Yesterday they Girls were X-rayed and the Doc’s Report is yet to be given.  They were given an appointment for Dec. but that I will pursue when I see the Doc. so that he can change the date.  About sending support for the Girls, I would suggest you try before Thursday as Mama Esther advised my Friend that she was
Planning to travel on Friday.

NEW MESSAGE TODAY-06.16.09

Phyllis and Dorris, our Kenyan girls with huge tumors below their small belly's were x-rayed today and given an appointmen for December, Isaac this is unacceptable.  I wish  we had a way to expedite their treatment, if anyone out there will listen with their heart we could all get united and save this two little girls from such untold misery...Jayne  spent the evening with them at their Host's room in Ongate Rongai today and someone else had gone over on Sunday night and prayed with them and also did some Nakumart shopping for food .
We have also made plans for Jayne  to buy them trouser-pants so that they can keep warm when they have to take their clothes off for photographs or doctor's examinations, after all they are girls and only the tumors need be exposed...Esther, the mother needs a mobile phone ASAp so that she can be accessible......Isaac,  I have Jayne's mobile if you need it..she will E-mail me the results of the X-rays overnight  and I will forward them to you ....to God Almighty be all the Glory for the Things He alone has done and will do !!!
